Event information

Hear about firsthand experience with the criminal justice system in this diverse panel of individuals. You’ll discover their journeys from incarceration to the community, including their personal challenges and opportunities. The panel will also include NGOs working with people exiting prison and researchers who will outline the complexities involved in simultaneously complying with parole supervision, engaging in employment, and dealing with AOD and mental health issues. We encourage participants to leave their biases and preconceived beliefs at the door for this profound event.
