Family violence

It’s normal to feel overwhelmed when you have been affected by family violence, and it can be difficult to know where to start when seeking help.

The Lawyer in the Library Drop-in Clinic will help you identify and understand your legal issues and provide you with referral options for support.

The clinic will provide information on a broad range of legal topics relating to family violence, such as family law, family violence intervention orders, tenancy, the Financial Assistance Scheme (formerly VOCAT), divorce and any other family violence related legal matters.

No appointment is necessary, simply call into the Warrnambool Library and Learning Centre on the day. Please note that due to the nature of the event, we cannot provide legal advice on the day.
