Join us for a warm and informative afternoon aimed at building awareness around family violence and the supports available in our community. Whether you, a friend, or a family member is facing a challenging situation, this session is designed to empower you with the knowledge and tools to take action.

We’ll cover practical legal topics such as tenancy and property issues when leaving a relationship, including how to safely collect belongings or request others remove theirs. We’ll also explore family violence intervention orders, parenting arrangements, mediation, and what happens if an order is breached—helping you understand the steps from application to final orders.

After the session, you’ll have the opportunity to speak privately with lawyer David Brozinski at a confidential drop-in legal clinic. Bookings are essential for the clinic.

The event starts at 12 noon with a light lunch, tea and coffee provided. All are welcome—this is a safe space to ask questions and learn more about the supports that exist for you and those around you.
