Fines can be stressful and confusing—That’s why we’re bringing together experts to help you understand the ins and outs of receiving a fine.

You'll hear short presentations from three key services: Whittlesea Community Legal Service will explain how and when to fight a fine, including revocation applications; Uniting Financial Counselling will talk through options for paying fines, including how to convert fines into community work; and the Office of the Victorian Ombudsman will explain how to raise a complaint if you believe a fine has been unfairly issued or managed.

After the presentations, there’ll be time for questions from the audience. This event will give you the tools and confidence to take action when you receive a fine.
